Apricots are an uncommon Nature ARC Raiders Items. Although they can be consumed to restore a small amount of stamina, their main long-term value is upgrading Scrappy. You need 3 Apricots to train Scrappy to Level 3 and another 12 to reach Level 5, making a reliable farming route useful if you want to avoid searching for them at the last minute.
Apricots are not guaranteed to appear in every raid. They can spawn around certain trees or inside Nature-related containers, so the most effective approach is to search areas with suitable vegetation, check the ground around fruit trees, and collect any useful fruit you find along the way.
How Many Apricots Do You Need for Scrappy?
Before starting a farming run, check your current Scrappy upgrade requirements. You need a total of 15 Apricots to complete both upgrades that require this fruit.
| Scrappy Upgrade | Apricots Required | Other Materials |
| Level 3 | 3 | 3 Lemons |
| Level 5 | 12 | 12 Mushrooms and 3 Very Comfortable Pillows |
| Total | 15 | Other materials listed above |
If Scrappy is already at Level 3, you only need 12 more Apricots for the Level 5 upgrade. It is worth keeping these fruits in your inventory rather than selling or consuming them while you are still working toward the next training level.
You can check the required materials through Scrappy in the Workshop. Use the displayed requirements to decide how many Apricots to keep, especially if you are collecting other upgrade materials during the same raids.
Best Apricot Locations in ARC Raiders
Apricots are associated with Nature loot and fruit trees. Their exact spawns can vary between raids, so none of the following areas guarantees a specific number of fruits. However, several locations are useful starting points when planning a dedicated search.
1. Red Lakes – Dam Battlegrounds
Red Lakes is a strong starting point for Apricot farming on Dam Battlegrounds. Search around the tree clusters and check the ground beneath them carefully. Apricots may already be lying near a tree, but you should also interact with suitable fruit trees when the option appears.
This area is particularly useful when your main objective is collecting Apricots rather than searching residential buildings for unrelated upgrade materials. Move between nearby trees instead of spending too long checking a single spot. If you do not find the fruit you need, continue your raid rather than assuming the area has a guaranteed spawn.
2. Marano Park – Buried City
Marano Park is another useful location, especially if you are already exploring Buried City. Its trees make it a practical place to search for Apricots, and the area can also help when you are collecting other Nature-related resources.
Check around the bases of trees and look for fruit on the ground before moving on. Interacting with a suitable tree can reveal additional fruit, so do not rely only on what is immediately visible. Because the available loot changes between raids, a visit may produce Apricots or other resources instead.
3. Olive Grove – The Blue Gate
Olive Grove is worth visiting when you are running raids on The Blue Gate. The surrounding vegetation makes it a useful area for Nature-related gathering, and it can be convenient if you also need to collect other fruits for Scrappy.
Search the trees and nearby ground rather than focusing on containers alone. If your objective includes both Apricots and Lemons, this area can be a practical choice because you can check for different fruit while following the same general route.
4. East Plains – Spaceport
East Plains is an additional option when you are already playing on Spaceport. Apricots can appear across the map, but this does not mean every section of East Plains will contain them in a given raid.
Treat this area as an opportunistic farming stop rather than a guaranteed Apricot location. If your route takes you through Spaceport, check suitable Nature areas and nearby trees. There is little reason to travel across the map solely for East Plains when a more convenient fruit-gathering area is available on your current route.
How to Find More Apricots During a Raid
Check the Ground Around Fruit Trees
Do not search only the trees themselves. Apricots can appear on the ground beneath or around suitable trees, so look carefully before leaving an area.
Apricot trees have a relatively small profile and distinctive green and yellow foliage. When you identify a suitable tree, circle its base and check for nearby fruit. The tree’s appearance can help you recognize it, but it does not guarantee that Apricots will be available.
Interact With Suitable Trees
Some fruit trees can be shaken or kicked to drop additional fruit. Approach the tree and look for an interaction prompt. If no prompt appears immediately, adjust your position and check again from another side.
A successful interaction does not guarantee Apricots specifically. The fruit you receive can vary, so treat this as an additional opportunity rather than a guaranteed source.
Search Nature-Related Containers
Apricots can also be found through scavenging. Check Wicker Baskets and other relevant containers, including Bird Nests, Raider Fruit Baskets, and Winter Fruit Baskets during the Cold Snap map condition.
Do not assume every container will contain fruit. Container loot is variable, so searching these sources works best when they are already along your route.
Take Advantage of Lush Blooms
When the Lush Blooms map condition is active, Nature loot becomes more valuable to search. If the condition is available on a map you plan to visit, consider prioritizing its affected areas for fruit gathering.
It is still important to check the actual map condition before entering a raid. Lush Blooms improves the opportunity to find Nature loot, but it does not guarantee Apricots at a particular tree or container.
Apricot Farming Tips and Inventory Management
Apricots are relatively light and stack up to 10 per inventory slot. Each one weighs 0.2 kg, has a listed sell value of 640 Raider Coins, and restores 20 stamina when consumed.
Despite their sale value and stamina effect, saving them for Scrappy is usually the better choice while you are still upgrading him. Keep at least 15 in total if you have not completed either Apricot-related upgrade. If you have already trained Scrappy to Level 3, reserve 12 for Level 5 and treat any additional fruit as surplus.
You should also avoid turning every raid into a dedicated Apricot search. If you find fruit while completing another objective, collect it and continue toward extraction when appropriate. A consistent approach across several raids is more reliable than spending too much time in one area hoping for a specific spawn.
Best Route for Apricot Farming
For a focused Apricot run, start with Red Lakes on Dam Battlegrounds and search the nearby tree clusters. If you are playing on Buried City, use Marano Park as your main gathering area. On The Blue Gate, check Olive Grove, particularly if you also need other fruit.
Spaceport’s East Plains can serve as an extra stop when it fits your route, but it should not replace a more convenient farming area without a reason. In every location, inspect the ground around trees, interact with suitable fruit trees, and search relevant containers you encounter.
The key is to collect Apricots whenever a useful opportunity appears while keeping your Scrappy requirements in mind. With 15 needed across the Level 3 and Level 5 upgrades, saving the fruit as you find it will make the final upgrade process much easier.
